ZZZZZ

Dr. D's newest project was to build a bed for Miss S. It was a surprisingly fast process with the bed built in about 3 days, plus a few days to seal with natural oils.

Here he is busy at work.

The natural colors of the wood turned out beautiful. The final design ended up a bit different than he originally intended but he was very happy with the results. He may tackle the night stand and dresser at some other point.

Miss S loves it as well. She has been doing a great job of staying in her bed and not wandering all over the place.

Earlier in the month, we celebrated Great Grandma Ruth's life. Miss S enjoyed seeing many relatives and family friends, especially getting to play with her cousins.

Miss S absolutely loves the swings. It is the first place she heads when we get to the playground and she could stay there for hours.

A good spot to view the sunset, on top of grandpa's shoulders.

Miss S was able to meet Morgan, the daughter of one of Mommy's friends. They had a great time playing together.

Miss S has been busy in the kitchen. She rolled out some sugar cookie dough and had fun with the cookie cutters.

Of course they need some sprinkles. Yummy.

We continue to hack away at the brush. We had some rain and that gave us the opportunity to get some of the piles burnt off.

The dogs always enjoy finding a sunny spot on the porch.

Dr. D just headed back to his first day of teaching classes after the winter break.
