Happy Halloween!

What a beautiful morning! We woke up to large v formations, each containing 60 or more snow geese, flying overhead. They looked like diamonds sparkling in the bright blue sky. The air was crisp, but it only took a few minutes in the sunshine to warm up.

We spent part of the afternoon downtown with lots of little trick or treaters. Here is Miss S with some of the treats people gave her.

Farm Life

Now that our wheelbarrow is loaded with pumpkins it is time to leave the patch.

What could be more soft and cuddly than a chinchilla and a baby in a box?

What's all the buzz about?

Here's one eye Ky (both eyes are open) after disturbing a yellowjacket nest. She was stung over 12 times, but it didn't seem to faze her much. After some medication and a couple of hours of rest, the swelling was gone for the most part.

Every day brings new things to explore. Miss S is inspecting the pine duff in the woodlot.

Owen (Miss S' buddy from Sac) looks extremely thrilled to have his hair messed with at his family's open house.

"Some days it feels like I am pulling teeth". Wait, we don't have many to pull yet.
