Thankful

We are so thankful to have so many wonderful people in our lives. We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Miss S getting creative with the paints. Don't worry they are non toxic.

Dr. D getting creative. He made a bay leaf wreath with some of the branches from one of our trees. If you ever need bay, let us know.

Miss S trying on mommy's scarf.

Check out the size of this mushroom I came across.

Helping daddy out on the tractor.

Here is one of the many dead manzanita piles to be chipped. Just part of what we pulled out in the last week.

November Nights

Now that the time has changed, it seems as though the night time rolls around much faster. We have been making use of as much of the daylight as possible.

Miss S is still as goofy as ever.

She had a great time at her cousin's 1st birthday party. It is always more fun to play with some else's toys.

Here is our niece enjoying her birthday cake.

They only fed her a few leaves.

A picture with auntie.

We were able to catch up with some friends from college for dessert. Here is a shot with Master and Michael.

Andrew and Megan tried some exquisite desserts. Well at least Megan did...

Andrew with his buttered toast.

Now that Halloween is over what do you do with all of that pumpkin. We had a pumpkin processing plant - cooking, chopping, processing, bagging and freezing. Now we have plenty of filling for all of those tasty pumpkin pies. YUM!

We have also been busy making a dent in the dead manzanita walls. Dr. D is standing in the middle of one of the section, but notice how clear the area is in front. That was all previously filled with dead brush.

We loaded up many truck loads - some for burning and some for chipping.

Miss S helped me to plant over 200 bulbs. We are looking forward to some beautiful blooms in a few months.

We finally got around to painting the mud room. It has definitely been a packed couple of weeks with lots of good visits and projects around the house.
