First Day of Spring

Happy First Day of Spring! We are definitely seeing signs of spring around here. Many of bulbs we planted are blooming.

Dr. D moving around some soil and compost for the garden.

Asparagus tips popping through the weeds in the garden. We have lots of weeding and planting to get started in the next few weeks.

Earlier this week - Miss S on St. Paddy's Day. She added the bow herself.

A Mini Vacation

We had a mini vacation from Kylie or actually we could have gone on a mini vacation for the cost of her emergency vet bill. This picture is not for the queasy. Kylie was in the barn around our wood pile and somehow snagged her skin and some muscle on a piece of wood. She had a huge hole near her shoulder. Of course it happened on a Sunday afternoon, so off we went to the emergency clinic. She ended up with quite a few stitches and a drain. There is the stitched up dog. I opted not to post the close up.

Since we had already spent so much on this injury. Dr. D decided to remove the drain and stitches himself with some help from his dad. She is all healed up now and back to her normal self.

All is good. Miss S enjoying her little table and chairs that daddy made for her birthday.

Miss S loves to put diapers on her stuffed animals. Here she is in her "igloo".

Sculpting with Play doh.

Miss S and her buddy Owen. It is so much fun to play with other people's toys.

Has anyone seen that piece of meat I was eating?
