Bliss

Wonderful weeks of wedded bliss. Brother John was married. We traveled to the wedding in Hawaii, took a cruise of the islands, traveled down south for the reception and came back home to some cold and wintery weather.

On the cruise we were able to take a couple of classes. Here is Dr. D with one of his projects.

We were able to meet up with our friend Kat for a hike through Waikamoi Reserve.

This shows the layers of lava that make up the edge of the island. A beautiful site with the ocean waves crashing.

This would be the beach in Kona where Grandma I. fractured her radius, ulna and hand bones. At least people can understand that she didn't fracture them on a sandy beach.

Waimea canyon definitely reminded us of the grand canyon.

We saw a few rescues on the closed beaches of north shore. Some people did not head the signs.

I was able to meet my friend's daughter, the beautiful Isabella, while in southern California.

Back at home, we are now getting some snow. The first storm dropped 18 inches in 24 hours. We will see how much more this next storm brings. Dr. D went out and found a Christmas tree.
